The Fancy-Free Type - Beautiful Utamaro portrait of a young woman returning from a bath, dressed in a loose cotton robe patterned with circular motifs of birds in flight. She dries her hands on a towel as she looks over her shoulder with a happy smile. A wonderful design with soft color and fine line work, with a shimmering mica background. Red seal on reverse at lower right dated Showa 6 (1931).

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Toning and creasing, a few losses to mica. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
