Enoshima in Sagami Province - Lovely view of the seashore at Enoshima in Sagami Province. Pilgrims make their way across a narrow stretch of land to reach the sacred shrine of Benzaiten, which is located on the island. At the left, three women and a child stroll along the foothills at Mt. Shichimenzan under a pine tree growing from the steep hillside. Below, pilgrims cross the beach toward the island, waves lapping at the shore. An attractive subject with soft shading in the water and sky, rarely seen. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few small holes and thinning spots, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
