Wife of Tokugawa Ienobu, No. 6 - Charming portrait of the wife of Tokugawa Ienobu, the sixth shogun, in her private quarters washing her hands in a beautiful lacquer bowl. A servant kneels at her side with a matching lacquered pitcher to pour additional water. An open doorway provides a beautiful view of a cherry tree in blossom beside a lake. Handsome embossed detail in the white kimono fabric. A lovely image.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Faint toning and offsetting, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
