Wife of Tokugawa Hidetada, No. 2 - Beautiful design of the wife of the second Tokugawa shogun, Hidetada, relaxing in a quiet moment. She wears a robe loosely wrapped about her while an attendant strokes her flowing black hair. An elaborate lantern trimmed with beads and tassels hangs overhead, and a vase of peonies and colorful flowers adds a lively touch. A handsome print with beautiful delicate detail in the facial expression and hair.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. One small hole, repaired. Faint toning, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
