Tadamasa Ueno's Eighteen Kabuki Plays - Published in the early 1950s, Tadamasa Ueno's "The Eighteen Plays" (Kabuki juhachiban) features famous kabuki roles from the eighteen plays made popular by the Danjuro Ichikawa line of actors. Rendered with strong calligraphic line work and attractive color, these handsome designs bring the spectacular world of kabuki to life. Prints by Tadamasa Ueno are rare and are a great choice for a kabuki or shin hanga enthusiast.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top edge from previous mounting. A few prints have very slight soiling or a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Generally in nice condition overall.
