Kobai, Chapter 43: Kajiwara Genta Kagesue - Great portrait of the famous warrior Kajiwara Genta Kagesue in battle. He stands atop a vanquished foe as brandishes his sword, a naginata and spears thrust at him from below. His hair flows wildly around his face, and a branch of flowering red plum is tucked at his back. Wonderful detail in the armor and weapons, with soft shading in the sky. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Image Size - 13 1/2" x 18 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper, remargined at left side. A few losses at edges and small wormholes, repaired. Slight soiling, slight rubbing near edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
