Restaurant in Miyoshi

Series; Thirty-six Modern Restaurants, 1878

Restaurant in Miyoshi - Lovely image of two beauties relaxing on a pleasure boat moored between the wooden pilings of a bridge, which frame the scene nicely. One woman reclines in the cabin with a folding fan, resting her head on her hand. The other beauty smiles happily as she leans against the roof, taking a toothpick from her mouth. The sleeves of her blue-violet kimono flutter in the breeze, along with the hem of her red under robe. A restaurant can be seen on the shore beyond, with an entrance gate at dock leading into a courtyard garden. A beautiful design with attractive color and fine bokashi shading in the water and sky.

Image Size - 13 1/4" x 8 7/8" + margins as shown
