Comments - Beautiful Edo era kakemono or vertical diptych of a young beauty building a snowman in the shape of the god Daruma. She holds an umbrella in one hand and pats a mound of snow with the other. She wears an elegant paulownia print kimono, a checked coat, and tall geta clogs. A classic ukiyo-e beauty subject, nicely composed.
