Kabuki Portraits - Handsome design from a terrific group of kabuki portraits by Kunisada III. These bold images feature detailed, half-length portraits of kabuki actors, sensitively drawn, with expressive faces capturing a range of emotions. The figures are attractively colored, and set off by solid-colored backgrounds. Some feature roles from the "Eighteen Kabuki Plays" made famous by the Ichikawa Danjuro line of actors. A nice opportunity to select a fine Meiji era actor portrait.

Image Size - 8" x 5 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few creases at edges. Some prints have slight soiling or a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Generally in nice condition overall.
