Comments - Intriguing design from a series by Kiyoshi Saito featuring ancient pottery funerary figures called "haniwa." The shapes are simplified and bold, the warm gold, white, and black set off by a deep gray background. Beautiful use of strong wood grain impression to convey texture.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Pinholes in top corners. Slight tape remnant at lower left corner. Surface loss at bottom center, slight rubbing at corners, small scratch in right margin. Slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
