Beauty Smoking - Classic Utamaro portrait of a young beauty smoking a slender pipe. She exhales a puff of smoke, the swirling vapors rendered only with embossed lines, a fantastic detail emulating Utamaro's original. Beautifully detailed with fine line work in the hair, and a soft mica background. A terrific design. An original label on the back indicates that this print was published by the National Museum, the name of the Tokyo National Museum from 1947 - 1952. The museum commissioned high quality reprints of many of the ukiyo-e masterworks in its collection.

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 10 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Toning, a few light creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
