Original 20th century Japanese Woodblock Print
Blind Men Crossing a Bridge

Comments - Interesting modern woodblock depicting a group of blind men crossing a bridge, which can be seen as a symbol of the unenlightened seeking understanding. Feeling their way with canes, and holding onto each other, the men tentatively move forward. Simply rendered using the strong wood grain to create a bold image. Pencil signed at bottom right.

Artist - Isaku (20th century)

Image Size - Page size 19" x 36 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Creasing from rolled storage. Please note: due to the large size, print will be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
