Adachi was one of the most respected publishers of the 20th century. Their woodblocks were printed to the highest standards with excellent color and fine detail. Lady Ise Watching Flying Geese - Beautiful image of the Heian era poet Lady Ise watching as a flock of geese passes high overhead. Plum branches dotted with blossoms and buds frame the early spring scene. A beautiful classic design, rare to find in reprint.
