Pictures of Products and Industries of Japan - Published in 1877, Hiroshige III's series "Pictures of Products and Industries of Japan" depicts local industries across the country. Subjects include farming, fishing, mining and harvesting natural resources, and traditional crafts and products. These rare uncut pages feature two designs on each page, which normally would have been cut apart. These wonderfully detailed scenes offer a terrific look at the wealth of resources and the wide variety of products available in Meiji era Japan.
