Robe-Hanging Pine, Senzoku Pond - Charming print of the bright blue Senzoku Pond with the famous Robe-Hanging Pine tree on the shore at right. The tree received this name when the famous thirteenth-century Buddhist priest Nichiren stopped by the pond while traveling and hung his robe on a branch. A few herons take flight above the water, and visitors pause for a break at the tea stand in the foreground. An attractive view with soft shading in the water and sky.

Image Size - 13 1/4" x 8 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning and spotting, a few creases, minor offsetting. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
