At right, the beauty recoils with fright, leaning back against a bed, her hand thrown out in alarm. At left, a samurai hides behind a fallen folding screen, a worried frown on his face. An overturned offering tray and sake cup attest to the struggle. Greta expressive figures in a nicely detailed interior setting.
