Stories of Present Day Warriors - Terrific series by the Osaka artist Kunikazu featuring contemporary warriors. These great actions scenes show brave samurai in the midst of battle, fearlessly fighting their enemies, dodging blows and brandishing severed heads as trophies. Realistically drawn with expressive figures and wonderful detail, these lively designs are a terrific choice for a samurai enthusiast. A handsome, rarely seen series.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Horizontal center fold. Paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous folio mounting. A few small wormholes and holes, repaired. Slight creasing and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
