Cherry Blossom Viewing

Comments - Attractive triptych depicting beauties enjoying an afternoon viewing the cherry blossoms. The two women at right smile and wave happily at some beauties strolling along at far right. The woman in the center carries a gourd container while her companion at right holds a small sake cup. The beauty at left sits on a stump, reaching into her tobacco pouch to fill her pipe. The hillside is dotted with flowering cherry trees, with visitors in the distance walking among them and a pair of men dancing about at left. A charming scene of this spring pastime, attractively color with fine bokashi shading.
