Precincts of the Shiba Shinmei Shrine, circa 1832 - 1838 - Intriguing view of the precincts of Shiba Shinmei Shrine with a procession making its way under a gate and torii gate. Shops line the street, with women and men crowding the road. A temple building rises at right, and clouds drift across the scene. A handsome composition and a rarely seen Hiroshige design, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical center fold. Slight separation at one end of fold, two small holes, repaired. Slight soiling, very slight rubbing near bottom edge. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
