Prince Genji and Frolicking Beauties

Comments - Unusual triptych depicting Prince Genji watching a group of women frolicking in the snow outside his mansion. He stands at right, leaning against a wooden pillar, grinning as he watches their antics. At center, a beauty with a broom chases two other women, while just below her a woman slips and falls on her back, taking her companion's wrap with her as she goes down. An amusing winter scene.
