Beauty and Servant in Snow

Comments - Attractive winter scene of a beauty under an umbrella standing patiently as her servant bends down to clean snow from her geta sandal. She rests one elbow on his shoulder, wearing a black coat over a lavender kimono. The sky is detailed with distressed silver mica and dots of white pigment to indicate falling snow. A charming subject, not often scene in reprint.

Image Size - 14 1/2" x 9 1/2"
