Wife of Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, No. 5 - Handsome design of the Shogun Tokugawa Tsunayoshi's young wife and an attendant. Her long black hair is loose and flowing down her back, and she has the "moth wing" eyebrows fashionable during her era. Her white robe is beautifully embossed as is the white collar of her attendant. Nice architectural detail in the background of this attractive woodblock.
