Orange smoke and red embers drift across the night sky beyond the stone walls of the fortress. The general sits on a dappled horse, holding a riding crop in one hand and the striped reins in the other. The retainer beside him throws his hand out in alarm, wearing a green coat with a brocade collar over his suit of armor. Nice expressive figures, detailed with burnishing in the black kimono and fine bokashi shading in the sky.
