Series; A Contest of Fashionable Beauties of the Pleasure Quarters

Enjoying the Cool Air at Nakasu - Terrific design of beauties enjoying the cool evening air while strolling through the Nakasu entertainment district in Edo. The courtesan in the center wears a sheer black kimono tied with an intricately patterned obi. Her younger companion wears a flowing robe in a pink and white plaid, lifting the hem as she walks. The blue curtains of a shop hang overhead, along with paper lantern. A lovely scene with attractive color and fine line work.
