Comments - Lovely triptych depicting a group of beauties on an outing to view the cherry blossoms at Ueno. The women smile happily as they stroll along, two of them carrying umbrellas, a few lifting the hems of their kimono as they walk. The hillside behind them is covered with flowering cherries and rugged pines, and visitors climb the steep stairs to the temple perched atop the hill. A beautiful spring landscape, and a wonderful depiction of this classic spring activity in Japan. A great Hiroshige beauty design
