Comments - Handsome triptych depicting Mitsuuji, the Country Genji, and a beauty on a summer morning. The beauty has just finished her bath, smiling at her companion as she dries the side of her face with her kimono sleeve. Her tie-dyed robe is loosely wrapped about her, the fabric trailing onto the floor. A fan patterned with peonies and a couple of books rest on the tatami mats lining the floor. Mitsuuji sits at right with a bowl in his hand, and a young attendant at left holds a black lacquer basin with a bowl of water in it and a toothbrush resting across the rim. The room overlooks a garden with decorative lantern next to a stone basin of water and flowering plants. An attractive design with a nicely detailed setting.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Horizontal center fold in each panel. A few wormhole and small holes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
