Kameyama: Woman Dreaming of Omatsu, Gennojo, and Sodesuke - Charming scene of a young woman enjoying a daydream. She rests her chin on her hand as she sleeps, her hair pulled back into a knot with loose wisps framing her face. Her dream appears as in a cloud of smoke, depicting the story of the beauty Omatsu, who marries the samurai Gennojo. The elegant young woman spins thread on a verandah as the young Gennojo arrives for a visit with his footman, Sodesuke. is tied back with stray wisps framing her face and a hairpin falling loose, in contrast to her carefully coifed and dressed alter image. Nicely detailed and colored with soft shading.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Stitching holes along one edge. A few small wormholes repaired. Some soiling or rubbing as shown. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
