Restaurant near Ryogoku Bridge - Attractive portrait of a beauty from a series pairing women with famous restaurants. She looks over her shoulder with a slight smile, her open lips showing tiny, even white teeth, one hand atop a roll of tissues tucked into her obi. She wears a blue and white kimono with an intricate allover pattern of tiny gourds, over a red tie-dyed under robe with a blue print collar. Her hair is pulled back into a sleek knot, adorned with a tortoiseshell comb and several hairpins. The rectangular inset shows a view of the waterfront near Ryogoku Bridge, with several boats on the water. A classic Edo era beauty design by Eisen.

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Small tear at lower left edge, small losses at top corners, repaired. Creasing, slight soiling and rubbing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
