Comments - Beautiful view of the port of Shimoda during a gentle rain. The drops fall in delicate gray lines against the subtle blue and green tones of the water and distant mountains. Boats along the shore at right frame the scene, providing a nice contrast with the misty, watercolor-like rendering of the landscape and clouds. A lovely, serene image and a wonderful shin hanga subject.
