Comments - Great kabuki portrait of an actor in the role of a yakko or footman, his rank easily identifiable by the striped collar on his black kimono and the white diamond crest on the shoulder. He lifts one leg as he hops over a covered standard lying on the ground, a cloth in his hand. He looks ahead with a tight-lipped frown, his brows furrowed. The yellow background features a large circular crest in white. A nice Osaka design in the unusual full oban format.
