Beautifully drawn and delicately colored, these tranquil designs capture the harmony and beauty associated with this classic ritual. Prints from this terrific series rarely come on the market. A wonderful choice for display, or for any collector interested in this timeless Japanese ceremony.

Thick Tea Ceremony - Here, the host dips water to prepare "koicha," the thick tea served first in a full formal tea ceremony. The tea bowl is ready on the floor before her, with the whisk for mixing the tea nearby. Lovely detail in the intricately patterned kimono and obi fabric.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at edges from previous folio mounting. Some prints have a few small spots or slight soiling, or a few light creases. Please see photos for details.
