Masterpieces of Old Japanese Color Prints - Handsome reprint from a series of Japanese masterworks published by the Nippon Gasui-sha in the early 20th century. This great old series was originally sold by subscription, with three new woodblock prints released every month. Subjects range from classic beauty and landscape designs by ukiyo-e masters Hiroshige and Utamaro, to portraits and nature scenes by Mitsuoki Tosa and painters from the Kano school. A wonderful opportunity to collect a classic image by these Japanese masters.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse along one side from previous folio mounting. Some prints have a faint crease or two. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
