Comments - Handsome view of pilgrims arriving at the entrance gate of Tsubosaka Temple in Yamato (present-day Nara Prefecture). One man pauses to lift his hat to admire the view through the red pillars across the stone flagged courtyards. Trees rise above the tiled roof, with a glimpse of a crescent moon beyond the foliage. A quiet, contemplative image, softly colored.

Sealed - Publisher Watanabe, 7mm seal, later edition original, from original blocks
