Comments - Beautiful moonlit view of Kakizaki Benten Shrine in Shimoda. Steps lead to the shrine nestled among the pine trees overlooking the water, shadowed in black and gray. A full moon glows pale blue in the night sky, bathing the scene in a deeper blue light, with pale blue reflections shimmering on the water below. A few waves lap at the shore dotted with rocks, with a rocky promontory in the distance. A wonderful, evocative image, richly colored and beautifully shaded.
