Helping an Elderly Woman

Comments - Interesting image depicting a young beauty helping an elderly woman to put on a coat. A blue scarf covers the old woman's head, and a string of prayer beads is looped around her wrist. Her eyeglasses and the book she has been reading rest in her lap. A Western-style clock sits on a small stand nearby. A baby and mother play in the left panel. A nicely detailed subject.

Artist - Nobukazu (1874 - 1944)

Image Size - 19" x 14" + margins as shown

Condition - With excellent color and detail. Minor ink stain at bottom edge. A few small holes repaired. Some light soiling at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
