Comments - Beautiful night scene of a boat on Lake Biwa, the figures seen in dark silhouette beneath a tall pine tree. A lantern on the boat glows softly, the warm light reflected on the shimmering water below. The sky is dotted with tiny white stars beyond the pine trees. A lovely, atmospheric design. From Hasegawa/Nishinomiya Publisher's lyrical "Night Scenes" series, stamped "Made in Japan" on reverse.
