Wedding Preparations - Lovely design of a young bride seated on a cushion as an attendant presents her with an offering during a ritual performed before the wedding ceremony. The young samurai bridegroom, dressed in a black robe with an elegant burnished pattern, watches the ceremony from a cushion at right. A low table behind the group is set with a symbols of longevity and good luck for the couple's future, including a bonsai pine tree, a turtle, and a pair of cranes. A beautiful Chikanobu triptych with lovely embossed detail in the white kimono fabric and a subtle pattern across the background. Would make a terrific framed presentation.
