Beauty and Scroll Niche, 1830s - Lovely portrait of a beauty standing next to a scroll niche. She wears a light green kimono shaded to blue and bordered with blossoms and flowing water, tied with a rose colored obi patterned with bats and crescent moons. A low wooden platform holds an ornate vase with a flower arrangement before a hanging scroll. An inset above features a view of a restaurant enclosed in a decorative frame. A charming Edo era beauty design from this rarely seen series, attractively colored.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with thin paper. One small hole, repaired. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
