Uo-ya Eikichi 1918 Edition Print

Distant View of Kinryuzan Temple and Azuma Bridge - Incredible design from Hiroshige's "100 Views of Edo" series. Across the prow of a pleasure boat on the Sumida River, Hiroshige depicts a fabulous view of the city, the Azuma Bridge to the left, the tower of the Kinryuzan Temple to the right and Fuji rising magnificent beyond. Cherry petals fall across the foreground on a gust of wind - terrific. Lovely color and fine bokashi shading.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 8 5/8" x 13 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning along upper left edge, repaired. A few small spots, a couple creases. Minor offsetting in margins. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
