Comments - Lovely Yumeji portrait of a beauty out for a stroll, carrying a parasol over her shoulder. She smiles as she looks back over her shoulder, placing her fingertips together delicately. Her lips are full and red, and her cheek is flushed with pale pink. She wears a gray kimono enlivened by pink lining and a red print obi. Her hair is arrange in a soft bun adorned with a comb, a bow, and hairpins detailed with silver mica. The stone paved road curves around over a bridge behind her, the path lined with tile roofed houses and a willow tree. A charming design with fluid, elegant line work and a classic example of Yumeji's beauty portraits. A posthumous print, possibly circa 1940s.
