Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty in a garden, enjoying the blossoming plum trees. She leans forward, bowing her head in greeting and smiling. Her kimono is shaded from aqua blue to lavender, and patterned with pine branches and a vine with delicate yellow leaves, tied with an orange and green waterwheel print obi. A charming spring scene, detailed with fine embossing on the white kimono trim.

Artist - Chikanobu (1838 - 1912)

Image Size - 13 3/4" x 9 1/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at right edge from previous folio mounting. Vertical fold near left edge, slight creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
