Series; Thirty-six Views of the Eastern Capital, 1861 - 1862

Nakazu Mitsumata - Terrific design of a boatman tending a fire on the sandy Nakazu or Middle Strand Island under the shelter of his boat, which is propped up on blocks of wood. Smoke rises high into the sky, with a view of a bridge and boats in the distance. Nicely shaded.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical crease near left edge. A few holes along crease, repaired. Slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
