The Fifty-three Pairs for the
Kyoto: View from the Great Sanjo Bridge - Charming view of a beauty and a young girl crossing the Great Sanjo Bridge in Kyoto, the last stop on the Tokaido Road. The girl holds a small figure of a nobleman. The beauty smiles happily, carrying an umbrella over her shoulder. She wears a floral print kimono with a furry black collar, her hair unusually styled in loops caught with hairpins. Beyond the bridge railings, the rooftops of the city stretch into the distance with gray mountains on the horizon. An attractive design.
