The Fifty-three Pairs for the
Okitsu: Scenery of Tago Bay - Attractive scene of a nobleman along the shore of Tago Bay, shielding his eyes with the sleeve of his robe as he enjoys the view. Fishing nets are hung up to dry at lower right, and white sails can be seen beyond the pine-covered outcroppings of land at left. Mountains shadowed in gray line the horizon, with Mt. Fuji looming majestically against the sky, dominating the landscape. A terrific Hiroshige design with fine bokashi shading in the mountains and water.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Stitching holes along one edge. A few small wormholes repaired. Some soiling or rubbing as shown. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
