Mountains and Rivers of Kiso

Series; Snow, Moon, and Flowers

Mountains and Rivers of Kiso - Fantastic triptych by Hiroshige depicting a mountainous setting in Kiso during the winter. Rolling hills covered in white snow contrast beautifully with the blue water of the river and the dark gray sky. A lone person crosses the narrow bridge at right, while another villager makes his way along a pathway curving around the mountain above as snow falls steadily. A beautiful reprint of this wonderful Hiroshige landscape, nicely detailed with fine bokashi shading in the sky. Published by Takamizawa with publisher's seal on reverse.

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 30" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Vertical fold at left and right edge of center panel (along edge of margin). Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
