Beauty with a Lamp and Wisteria

Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty carrying a lamp, looking back over her shoulder as she shields the light with her sleeve. She wears a kimono with narrow red stripes over bands of wavy black and white lines, tied with a red brocade obi, and chunky wooden sandals. A large wisteria blossom with deep purple petals hangs overhead against a softly shaded background. An interesting design, framed with a light orange border.

Artist - Kuniteru II (1829 - 1874)

Image Size - 13 3/4" x 9 1/4"

Condition - With excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. Slight soiling and wrinkling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
