Golden Pheasants, Roses, and Asters

Birds and Flowers - Attractive design from an 1896 series of kacho-e or birds and flowers prints. Each design features a bird in its natural habitat, surrounded by a variety of colorful flowers. A lavender border provides a decorative touch. Carefully drawn and nicely detailed with soft bokashi shading, these handsome images would make an attractive framed display, either singly or in groups.

Artist - Meiji era artist (not read)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/8" + margins

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
