Adachi was one of the most respected publishers of the 20th century. Their woodblocks were printed to the highest standards with excellent color and fine detail. Founded in 1925, Adachi also chose interesting and varied subjects for their prints and was the only publisher of many famous old ukiyo-e images.

Moon over Yodo River - Charming view of passenger boats on the Yodo River, the impressive Yodo Castle towering above the water on the lower right. The smaller boat in the center is selling food and drink to the passing boats. A full moon glows in the gray sky as evening sets. A lovely peaceful moonlit view, rarely seen in reprint.
