Comments - Great portrait of a Minamoto warrior on horseback, fully armored and ready to ride into battle. He rides a black horse, leaning forward eagerly, his bow in one hand and as he reaches around his back with the other hand to take an arrow from the quiver. His saddle is covered with tiger skin, and his horned battle helmet features a dragon. A fringed standard topped with the paulownia crest of the Minamoto Clan can be seen behind him. A lively image, nicely colored.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical fold near left edge. A few wormholes and holes, slight thinning at top edge, repaired. Creasing and soiling, slight rubbing near edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
