Beauty after a Bath Kakemono - Lovely Edo era kakemono or vertical diptych of a young woman after a bath. She dries the side of her face with the sleeve of her cotton kimono, which features an impressive tie-dyed design of a dragon around the shoulders and a tiger at the hem. She holds a blue and white cotton towel in her other hand, other robes crumpled on the floor behind her. A beautiful, classic ukiyo-e beauty image that would make an attractive display.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 28 1/8" x 9 3/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two panels, attached at the seams, backed with paper. A couple small holes, repaired. Faint toning, slight creasing and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
